Fisherman's Market & Grill originated in Palm Desert, CA; and has grown to having locations in Palm Springs, La Quinta, and Banning.
Shanghai Reds Bar & Grill
The legendary “Shanghai Reds” has come to the Desert inside both the Palm Springs and La Quinta “Fisherman’s Market & Grill” restaurant complexes. The Palm Springs hideaway is a Bar & Grill serving an extensive array of Fresh Seafood, Pasta Dishes, Oysters, Steaks, mouth-watering Appetizers, and so much more. It comes alive as a great hang out every day at 4:00 pm with Barry Baughn Blues Band playing R&B on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 pm in the intimate open-air courtyard. In the La Quinta location it is a fun Cabana Bar with fresh seafood and drink specials all enjoyed under the same beautiful starlit night with live entertainment also on Friday & Saturday nights at 8:00 pm.
The famous Anthony Bourdain came to Shanghai Reds Bar & Grill in search of a great Fish Taco. After eating their world famous Baja Fish Taco he said "The Fish Taco here is truly extraordinary; truly, truly, extraordinary!" Come and enjoy the fun!

The crew of Fisherman’s Market & Grill, voted Best Seafood Restaurant each year for the last 17 years, presents exclusively for JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, “Fisherman’s Landing Sports Bar & Grill.” Providing the highest quality seafood, from our boat to you, served fresh daily, as only third generation fishermen, fresh seafood purveyors, and restaurant veterans, can. As a full service restaurant, you will enjoy their new dishes and their friendly staff.
The views from not only our barstools, but out the adjacent patio are incredible. You won’t know where to look first...the golf course, the mountains, the lake, the gigantic Marriott pool, or the game on the large screens that surround the bar. We ordered from the Bar Menu Seared Ahi, Lobster, Shrimp and Swordfish Tacos. Yummy...Holly Hamlin, Desert Sun.
